oOh!media today announced the lights have been switched on for New Zealand’s first large format full-motion digital retail advertising sign in Auckland’s newest, high quality retail destination, NorthWest Shopping Centre.
The full-motion double-sided EVOKE sign, dominates the centre court of the new shopping centre in West Auckland and is capable of displaying six advertisers in a continuous loop of seven seconds each.

“We are currently in the process of transforming retail media in New Zealand and have committed over $3 million to introduce new digital formats, upgrade existing inventory, and increase our reach,” Mr McGregor said.

Located at the intersection of the North Western and Upper Harbour Motorways, NorthWest Shopping Centre forms the heart of a new regional town projected to attract shoppers from a trade area of some 220,000 people, including 65,000 residents within the primary catchment.
The initial six New Zealand advertisers on the EVOKE sign are Elizabeth Arden, TSB Bank, Vodafone, Eclipse Mints, Pandora and Hannahs.
oOh! plans to introduce an additional four EVOKE signs by the end of the year, with three more signs scheduled for 2016.
