Auckland, NZ:  Pioneers of Out-of-Home, oOh!media New Zealand (oOh!) and LUMO have united in support of Voices of Hope as New Zealand heads back into lockdown with the collaborative ‘We Bounce Back’ campaign, launching nationwide on Monday 16th August.

It’s wonderful to have Voices of Hope come on board as a community partner. We’re passionate about mental health in the broader community and more specifically, addressing the ‘burnout’ culture in this industry, so we’re thrilled to show ongoing support to this wonderful organisation.

The ‘We Bounce Back campaign’ releases daily videos that share words of encouragement, crafted to provide the public with a glimmer of hope in these uncertain times. The videos are being shared with high schools across Aotearoa and will feature across large and small format, on the street and in retail centres across the country.

Since the launch of Voices of Hope in 2014, founding members Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton have received global recognition for their content which has also caught the attention of companies wanting to support their vision. Voices of Hope posts daily messages on Instagram offering positive moments to support mental health and well-being.  Voices of Hope creates campaigns and content that shares the founders’ own lived experiences with the purposes of raising awareness, combating stigma and creating change.

Voices of Hope will join longstanding oOh! Community Partners including Youthline, Keep NZ Beautiful and Urban Art foundation. oOh! General Manager, Nick Vile says: “It’s wonderful to have Voices of Hope come on board as a community partner. We’re passionate about mental health in the broader community and more specifically,  addressing the ‘burnout’ culture in this industry, so we’re thrilled to show ongoing support to this wonderful organisation.”

LUMO CMO Hamish Smith says, “We’re excited to team up with oOh! and give Voices of Hope a platform to spread their message of hope to Kiwis across the country. Since the launch of Voices of Hope, Gen & Jazz have affected real change in our communities and it’s great to come on board and support their vision.”

Voices of Hope founders, Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton are both mental health advocates and felt they needed to use their past experiences alongside their passion for creating content to provoke and bring change. “It’s important for these fast-paced industries to take leadership and shed light on the importance of mental wellbeing. We’re thrilled to have the support of oOh! and LUMO backing Voices of Hope and bringing our mission to the street and retail centres across NZ.” says Genevieve Mora.
